First, let me introduce myself

Okay, so I decided to try this whole blog thing after talking to my uncle and seeing my aunt with hers. They both said that having their blogs helps them release a lot of things and just get stuff off of their chest. So, here goes!

First off, I live in Nebraska with my husband & dog - we are expecting our first child in the next couple of months, so we are getting prepared for that. I am very happy to be creating my own little family right now and we are extremely grateful for this. I work for a home building company for almost 2 years and I was promoted to my current position about 4 months ago. It has been very stressful trying to learn everything, which I am still in the process of doing. My husband travels all over the midwest to small towns to modernize their banking systems. I don't understand what he does really, but he enjoys his job and I am grateful for that. Our dog is a 6 year old Jack Russell Terrier and she has been driving me crazy the past few months. I'm pretty sure it's because I am constantly thinking about the baby and she is always following me under foot. Oh, and we are expecting a little boy. We are going to try and bring back some redemption to Husker Nation with our little bundle of joy!

I think this pretty much sums up what I want people to know about me for now. Like I said, this is my first post so I am sure that there will be plenty more to come!
